SYNOPSIS (Summary of source)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tidal_power
Is a form of hydropower that converts the energy
of tides into useful forms of energy mainly electricity
VISUAL (Picture of form of energy)

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
it is cleaner, it will never run out which means it doesn't pollute, as where fossil fuel burn and pollute
our enviroment.
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
There is considerable effect on the ecosystem. The exchange of water volume between a basin and the sea is reduced, this leads to the potential for increased pollution, because pollution is left accumulating in the basin. Also, because the exchange of volume is reduced, salinity of the basin decreases and sediment accumulation increases. Basically, anything we place in the water can and does affect the ecosystem.

SYNOPSIS (Summary of source)

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
its better than fossil fuel because is a recycable energy source
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
problems with the energy cannot be the same like tidals can be.

SYNOPSIS
(Summary of source)
Tidal energy is one of the oldest forms of energy used by humans. Tidal power is non-polluting, reliable and predictable.
Tidal energy can be exploited in two ways: by building semi-permeable barrages across estuaries with a high tidal range and by harnessing offshore tidal streams.Tidal energy is a renewable source of electricity which does not result in the emission of gases responsible for global warming or acid rain associated with fossil fuel generated electricity.

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
If you compare oil to tidal its not the same because you cant renew oil but you can renew tidal.

SYNOPSIS (Summary of source)
As the majority of the Earth’s surface is covered by oceans that are constantly shifting and changing throughout the year, there is a tremendous amount of power that is able to be tapped by harnessing the wave movements from the tides. Tidal wave energy refers to the ability or process of utilizing these shifts in the ocean to produce electricity and power conventional appliances.

TIDES.jpg
COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
IT IS BETTER BECAUSE THE TIDAL WAVES IS MORE STRONGER AND MOST OF THE EARTH IS COVERD WITH WATER ,SO IT MAKES US HAVE MORE ENERGY
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
IT WILL COST 15 BILLION TO BUILD .

COMMENTS: MINE IS MORE BETTER MY INFORMATION IS MORE ACCURATE .
