It can also be made from "cellulosic biomass" such as trees and grasses.
E10 (also called “gasohol”) is a blend of 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline sold in many parts of the country.

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
it's like the same because you are killing trees, grasses, and corn. Some people they dont think about the other people or animals.
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
A number of researchers, the latest in a report Monday, are warning about exaggerated expectations that ethanol could dramatically change America's dependence on foreign oil by shifting motorists away from gasoline

SYNOPSIS (Summary of source)
Ethanol is an alcohol-based fuel made by fermenting and distilling starch crops, such as corn. It can also be made from "cellulosic biomass" such as trees and grasses. The use of ethanol can reduce our dependence upon foreign oil and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
Because is made out of corn, is a plant that has low emission and fossil fuels have high emission.
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
Availability for ethanol production become very difficult and more of an ethical and food issue than anything.

SYNOPSIS (Summary of source)
Ethanol is a clear colorless liquid with an odor. Ethanol has a sweet taste, but when in a concentrated solution it can have a burning taste. Ethanol has many uses like in alcohol, medicine, fuel, and as a solvent. When used as an antiseptic, Ethanol kills organisms by denaturing their proteins and dissolving their lipids and is effective against most bacteria and fungi, and many viruses, but is ineffective against bacterial spores.(not done yet)

Ethanol is a source of alcohol it can be made by fermenting and distilling starch crops such as corn.also can be made from "cellulosic biomass" equals made form plants.Gasoline is blend of a 10% of ethanol and 90% from gas. This will be helpfull for automobiles to go from 3% -4% use less of their gas.

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
Ethanol is better than gas because the use of ethenol reduce our dependece upon the foreing transportation of oil,gas coal. And is more resistant than straight gas automobiles benebit. How they use 3%-4% less than staright gas.
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
A blend of 85% of ethanol and 15% of gasoline this provide gas for flexible fuels the cars that has the yellow gas cap.

COMPARISON (Why it is better than fossil fuels)
Ethanol is better than fossil fuel because once you
take the fossil fuel out of the ground there is no more
and ethanol is made from corn it will never run out because
you can keep growing corn.
CONCERNS (Problems with the new energy)
The problem with ethanol is that we make the ethanol gas
out of corn but we also use corn to feed people.
